Marine Engineering Support —
When You Need It Most
Stability, mooring, transport and offshore engineering delivered quickly by experienced naval architects — without long-term contracts.
Who We Typically Support
We support organisations that require practical, submission-ready marine engineering support, including:
• Vessel owners and operators
• Offshore and T&I contractors
• Marine surveyors
• EPC / EPCIC contractors
• Engineering consultants requiring specialist or overflow support
If you are dealing with class comments, urgent checks, or a live project timeline, this service is designed to support you quickly and effectively.
Why Clients Reach Out to Us
Clients typically contact us when:
• Classification societies or flag authorities request verification or additional calculations
• A project requires fast engineering confirmation to keep schedules on track
• There is limited in-house naval architectural capability
• A spreadsheet or calculator is no longer sufficient
• Clear, submission-ready documentation is required for approval
In these situations, we provide focused engineering support to help projects move forward without unnecessary delay.

Why TheNavalArch
500+ marine and offshore engineering projects delivered across stability, mooring, transport & installation, and structural verification.
We are a specialist marine engineering consultancy providing focused support across stability, mooring, transport and offshore engineering.
Our work is carried out by experienced naval architects and engineers with direct involvement in class-facing and approval-driven projects. We prioritise practical engineering judgement, clear documentation, and deliverables that are suitable for submission and review.
In addition to project-based engineering services, we also develop and maintain a suite of marine engineering calculators used globally by surveyors, operators and consultants. These tools are built on the same engineering principles and workflows applied in our consulting work.
Clients engage us when they require dependable engineering input, clear communication, and outcomes that help projects move forward without unnecessary iteration.
Selected Project Samples

Probabilistic Damage Stability Assessment
Scope: Probabilistic damage stability assessment for a 104 m vessel for light, intermediate and deep draft conditions.
Outcome: Overall attained index and individual indices were found greater than the required index.
Accepted by class without further comments, allowing certification to proceed.
(Client and vessel details withheld.)

Dynamic Mooring Assessment
Scope: Dynamic Mooring Analysis for the station keeping of a VLGC for ship-to-shore discharge of LPG using an 8-buoy CBM
Outcome: The CBM system was found to be satisfactory for the design environment. Line loads were found within limit, and the minimum drag anchor holding capacity was specified.
Accepted by client/port authority without further comments
(Client details withheld.)

Global FEA for Barge
Scope: Global Finite Element Analysis of a 330 Ft Barge to improve structural efficiency and production optimization
Outcome: Some structural optimizations were recommended, and the structural adequacy of major optimizations was demonstrated.
Accepted by client and class, leading to optimization and material savings on the project
(Project details withheld.)
