Effective Date: 10-Oct-2025
Last Updated: 10-Oct-2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the submission of personal and professional information by independent consultants (“Consultants”, “you”) to TheNavalArch Pty Ltd (“TheNavalArch”, “we”, “our”, “us”) via our website form, and the subsequent use of that information by TheNavalArch for the purposes of project collaboration, consultant matching, and related business activities.

By submitting your information or CV through our website form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of Data Collection

TheNavalArch collects consultant profiles, resumes, and related data to:

  • Build a vetted database of marine, offshore, and engineering consultants;
  • Match consultants with potential ad-hoc or project-based assignments;
  • Communicate regarding project opportunities and engagements;
  • Maintain internal records for compliance and operational management.

2. Information You Provide

When submitting your information, you may be asked to provide:

  • Personal identifiers (name, email, phone, country);
  • Professional qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, and rates;
  • Uploaded documents such as your CV or portfolio.

You confirm that all information provided is accurate, current, and truthful, and that you have the right to share this information with TheNavalArch.

3. Use of Your Information

Your information may be used by TheNavalArch to:

  • Generate anonymized one-page consultant summaries (“One-Pager CVs”) for internal or client evaluation purposes;
  • Perform analytics to match consultants to suitable projects.

Personal or identifying details (such as your full name, contact details, or employer names) will never be shared externally without your consent.

4. Data Storage and Access

  • Your information and documents are stored securely within TheNavalArch’s internal systems and protected by standard cybersecurity measures.
  • Only authorized TheNavalArch personnel have access to your complete record.
  • Clients may receive anonymized summaries that exclude personal or company-identifiable data.
  • Data may be stored on secure third-party platforms (e.g., Odoo, Google Drive, or equivalent) used for business operations.

5. Consultant Verification

Following submission, TheNavalArch may contact you to:

  • Verify your credentials and experience through a brief virtual meeting;
  • Request updated information or supporting documentation;
  • Evaluate suitability for specific technical categories or future assignments.

Submission of your CV does not constitute an offer of employment or engagement.

6. No Guarantee of Work

Registration in TheNavalArch’s consultant database is not a guarantee of project assignment or paid engagement.
Consultants may be contacted for opportunities as and when projects arise. Engagement terms, scope, and compensation will be agreed separately for each project.

7. Confidentiality

All submissions are treated as confidential.
By submitting, you acknowledge that:

  • Your information will be handled under TheNavalArch’s standard confidentiality procedures;
  • You may be required to sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to being assigned to any project.

8. Intellectual Property

Any reports, templates, or materials created by TheNavalArch using anonymized consultant data remain the intellectual property of TheNavalArch.
You retain ownership of your CV and credentials.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Your consultant record will remain active until:

  • You request removal in writing, or
  • TheNavalArch determines that your information is outdated or no longer relevant.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@thenavalarch.com.
