Purpose
“The Excel app has in it all forms and calculations, which you need in order to make the appraisal and prepare a detailed passage plan. The spreadsheet calculates Rhumb and Great circle distances, courses, wheel over points, Squat, UKC and air draft calculations etc.
Furthermore, you can keep a history of all your previous voyages/ waypoints and combine as necessary.”
How to use?
The user is asked to provide input such as Ship’s name, voyage data (way points with latitude and longitude), S.O.S.P time, C/P speed, planned ROT, expected speed, bridge watch levels, position fix intervals and methods, arrival/departure port information, various data connected with squat/UKC/Air draft calculations etc.
The Input cells are highlighted in blue

the version i have has some issues… color combination black text on blue background is not good… the voyage name lists 2 samples that can not be changed. the cell protection is not good as it is missing on some sheets and does allow to go to any cell even if no changes can be made… have not used the program in a practical situation so, there probably are other things…
