• This spreadsheet provides two methods: 1. DNV, 2. Barrass
• Can be used for both open water and confined channel situations
• It also advises the maximum speed possible to obtain the minimum underkeel clearance (UKC)
• It also generates a curve of UKC vs Ship speed
• Useful in navigation operations and in pilotage at ports
