Purpose

“The Excel app help you to prepare a detailed passage plan. The spreadsheet is calculating Rhumb and Great circle distances, courses and can provide wheel over point calculation for marking on charts in confined/restricted navigational areas.
The app provides all calculations and output figures you need in order to have thorough and neat passage plan calculation.
Furthermore, you can keep a history of all your previous voyages/ waypoints and combine as necessary.”

How to use?

The user is asked to provide input such as Ship’s name, voyage data (way points with latitude and longitude), S.O.S.P time, C/P speed, planned ROT and speed during turns.
