This Excel sheet helps the user check the strength and adequacy of a spreader beam used for lifting operations
- It calculates the design load, the Dynamic Amplification Factor (DAF) and lifting point loads
- It also calculates sling loads and checks sling angles
- It calculates the compressive stress on the Spreader Beam and checks if the Spreader Beam is adequate
- It can be used for an I-beam spreader, a Hollow Pipe Spreader or a Hollow Rectangular Beam Spreader
