Pin Connection Design (ASME)

Description

What does this Excel sheet do?
This Excel Sheet helps to design the pin size in a connection.
The pin connection comprises one central plate joined to two connection plates

How to use this Excel Sheet
The user is asked for the pin and plate material and dimensions. Input cells are in blue color.
The user has to provide all the inputs highlighted in blue.
Once all the information is included, the spreadsheet will check the pin capacity.
Design Category (A or B)

Limitations:
Applicable for all type of pin connections with 2 connecting plates.
Not applicable to other connection types.
